Posts are so much more exciting with pictures, so here is one from earlier this month. We were at a friend's house for a Sunday school party, and the gracious family took the children on pony rides. Meghan loved it. Meghan isn't the least bit scared of large farm animals, probably because when we visit Great Grandma and Grandpa J., she gets to go to the barn and see the cows. Evan is still waiting for his first trip to visit the cows.
A friend recently taught me a little song that Meghan enjoys since she is such a thrill seeker. Sing it while your child is facing you on your lap bouncing.
Horsey, horsey carry me
Over land and over see
When you're tired and need to stop
Then let the rider DROP!
(Open legs to drop child a few inches)

That's great! Nater sat on Nick's Grandma's horse last summer, but didn't go anywhere. I'm not sure how he would do now. :)
That little song is cute too.
We used to sing:
Trot little pony,
trot downtown
Trot little pony
..don't fall down!
Using the same motions. :)
